Hyperlapse is an interactive video experience in which the user can generate a custom video journey.
The purpose of the video was to bust the myths about the short failings of electric cars and engage the User with this theme in an engaging and dynamic way.
The user creates journey’s by entering a postcode start and end destination. The software then extracts images from google street maps and threads them between live 3D map data and 3D pre- rendered car/text animations.
The resulting film shows a personalised journey between these two points using an electric car, that can then be shared on social media channels.
